About Parlance

Every Craft Has a Language.

Parlance tells the stories of the world's most interesting builders and tastemakers.

Parlance is a documentary series about the people and work you should be paying attention to — before everyone else is. People whose taste and craft are shaping what comes next, given the editorial treatment their stories deserve.

Each episode is a short film built around a single subject: their craft, their environment, their hands doing the actual work. The subject's voice runs over the thing they've built. The format is best described as a magazine you can watch.

Who's building something worth paying attention to — and what does it look like from the inside?

The subjects aren't the ones you've already heard of. They're the ones you'll hear about next — whether they've been building for twenty years or two.

The people shaping what comes next, covered with the seriousness and quality usually reserved for those who've already arrived.
