Parlance · The Daily Brief
Terms of Use.
Last updated October 11, 2026
These terms cover The Daily Brief newsletter and the website at parlance.fyi, both published by Parlance. By subscribing or using the site, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use them.
The newsletter
The Daily Brief is free. You can unsubscribe anytime with the link at the bottom of every email. We may change, pause or stop the newsletter or any part of the site at any time.
For information only
The Brief is news and commentary. Nothing in it is financial, investment, legal, medical or other professional advice, and nothing is a recommendation to buy or sell anything. We work to get things right, but we can’t promise that everything is complete, current or error-free. Make your own decisions, and check with a professional when it matters.
Our content
The writing, design, logos and other original material in the Brief and on the site belong to Parlance. You’re welcome to forward the Brief to friends and share links to it. Please don’t republish, sell or reproduce our content in bulk without our permission. Stories, posts, photos and trademarks from others belong to their owners and are credited to them.
Links to other sites
The Brief links to articles, posts and videos on other sites. We don’t control them and aren’t responsible for their content, their paywalls or their privacy practices.
Your conduct
When you reply to us, answer the poll or send a note, don’t send anything unlawful, abusive or that you don’t have the right to share. We may use reader feedback to improve the Brief; we won’t publish your name or words without asking.
No warranties; limits on liability
The newsletter and the site are provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, Parlance isn’t liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the Brief or the site.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and how we use it: parlance.fyi/privacy.
Changes
We may update these terms. When we do, we’ll change the date at the top; if a change is significant, we’ll say so in the Brief. Continuing to use the Brief after a change means you accept the new terms.
